The Chosen One

I've been holding onto this one for a while!
It's based on an illustration by Luca Merli, called A tear in the dark.
While preparing this piece, I found a figurine of Vader and thought I would try scanning it to get proportion references. I tried mashing up pictures of it, when I found videos of people unboxing said figurine. I managed to get some decent angles and a scan actually worked! I ended up completely redesigning but it was a fun process to go through, as well as looking at old behind the scenes footage from Return of the Jedi.

I made the cape in a way so that it could hold if 3D printed, which I'd love to do!

This is meant for a collaboration so more to come!!
