I've been a fan of Grand Admiral Thrawn since his first appareance in Star Wars Rebels, and really liked the comic by Jody Houser and Luke Ross.
There was this frame that struck me, when you really see his face for the first time. I've been wanting to recreate it for literal years now, going back and forth on it.
Instead of just doing the helmet and the top part of the armour I ended up doing the whole thing, as hard surface practice! I was able to finish that a while ago (you can see that below) but never quite got around to his head.

It was interesting trying to find the right blue, as in Rebels it's a very desaturated blue and in the comic it's the absolute opposite. Avatar of course was a great point of reference but I also found that Thanos was very helpful to study in terms of translating an alien skin colour to "real life".
So fInally here it is! I'm proud of the result, as I really noticed progress in my sculpting skills, since my first rough version in 2021.
